1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using MyLift AI (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aron Ruizendaal (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
2. Description of Service
MyLift AI is a fitness coaching application that uses artificial intelligence to provide personalized workout guidance, exercise tracking, and training recommendations. The App offers both a free tier (“FREE”) and a paid subscription tier (“PRO”).
The AI coach is intended for general fitness guidance only. It is not a medical service, and the advice provided does not constitute professional medical, physiotherapy, or dietetic advice.
Before starting any exercise program, consult a qualified healthcare professional, especially if you have any medical conditions, injuries, or concerns. MyLift AI is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Stop exercising immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptoms and seek medical attention.
By using the App you acknowledge that exercise carries inherent risks and that you assume full responsibility for your physical safety during workouts.
3. AI-Generated Content
Workout plans, exercise recommendations, and coaching messages are generated by artificial intelligence and are personalized based on the information you provide. While we strive to provide helpful and accurate guidance, AI-generated content may not always be appropriate for your specific circumstances. You should use your own judgment and consult a professional when in doubt.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for your individual needs.
4. Eligibility & User Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use MyLift AI. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@myliftai.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may only create one account per person. Accounts are non-transferable.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
PRO subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All billing is handled by the respective platform and is subject to their terms and policies.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's app store account settings.
Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice. We do not offer refunds except as required by applicable law or as provided by Apple/Google's own refund policies.
FREE tier users are limited to 10 saved workout templates. PRO tier users have unlimited access to all features.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
- • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- • Share your account credentials with others
- • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service
- • Upload or transmit malicious code or content
- • Use the App in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of MyLift AI — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of Aron Ruizendaal and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the workout data and personal information you provide. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to use this data to provide and improve the service.
Exercise images and animations are provided by wger.de and are licensed under CC-BY-SA 4.0.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.
Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We will delete your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MyLift AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of profits, or loss of data, arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Netherlands.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
